SearchLite worked with a startup to create an investor pitch deck for a device used in field service. This device would allow real-time, remote two-way video communication with field service agents and the end user who is experiencing the technical problem.
Downtime is costly. It is estimated than in IT alone, the costs of downtime are $700B/year. In the automotive industry, it is estimated that the cost of downtime is as high as $240,000/hour.
For this engagement, SearchLite attended the IMTS 2018 conference in Chicago, one of the largest manufacturing conference with over 100,000 attendees that takes place every 2 years. SearchLite talked a variety of people in the ecosystem, from industry expert to field technicians, to 1) Asses the level of demand for the product 2) Develop a pricing strategy. This complemented the extensive secondary research on the market size and potential for the device.
The result was the creation of a “pitch” deck that is currently being presented to Venture Capital firms, which showcased a business strategy developed by SearchLite.
