Ping is a Ph.D. chemist from the University of Michigan with chemistry expertise, patent search and application experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills and technical sales and marketing practice within a wide array of technologies.
During her doctoral work, she gained not only intensive hands-on experience in organometallic chemistry, materials science and engineering, pharmaceuticals, device design, energy technology and nanotechnology, but also comprehensive experience in technology transfer, co-filling her first patent application.
After graduation, she started her career as an account manager in order to both gain more business and client-side experience and apply her scientific expertise to a diverse set of chemical and biotechnology challenges. Working in a consultative sales role, she successfully developed and communicated strategic solutions to a diverse audience including scientists and business leadership. Meanwhile, she consulted clients in industries including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, nanotechnology, energy technology, catalysis, automotive, electronics, cosmetics and food production.
She held many leader roles in organizations such as the Departmental Student Association at Shandong University and the National University of Singapore Volunteer Network.
In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, hiking and rock climbing.
